To ensure This Moment's Medicine remains safe for all, we agree to the following:

I. Scope of Practice & Voluntary Assumption of Risk:

My work is a peer-to-peer odyssey of the soul. The somatic movement, vocal liberation, and ceremonial offerings provided by Sheena Lee, LLC and This Moment’s Medicine are designed for creative, spiritual, and emotional exploration. I practice creative and spiritual medicine, but I am not a licensed medical professional, psychiatrist, or therapist.

These practices are a companion to, not a substitute for, professional medical, psychiatric, or psychological care. By booking a session, workshop, or ceremony, you acknowledge that deep emotional and physical releases may occur.

 

As my client, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with your participation and agree to hold Karly Lee Moyers and Sheena Lee, LLC completely harmless.

 

I reserve the right to pause our work and refer you to clinical professionals if your needs exceed spiritual stewardship.​​

II. Self-Stewardship & Physical Safety:

​By engaging in this work, you acknowledge that you are the ultimate authority of your own body, voice, and psyche. You agree to listen to your internal limits, communicate your boundaries, and actively own your healing journey.

• Acoustic Intensity: High-frequency sounds, sustained drumming, or vocal toning may be intense. If you have a history of seizures, tinnitus, or wear a pacemaker, you agree to consult a professional before partaking.

• Somatic Release & Responsibility: Movement may release stored physical or emotional tension. You acknowledge that healing crises (temporary fatigue or emotional sensitivity) can occur as the body reorganizes. Movement is a physical act. You agree you are in adequate health for embodiment practices/dance and are responsible for modifying movement to suit your body’s limitations. Karly Lee Moyers and Sheena Lee, LLC are not liable for any physical injuries or somatic processing crises sustained during or after your session.

• Consent and Boundaries: Your energetic and physical boundaries are sacred. Any physical touch used during ceremony is purely for grounding and support. You have the sovereign right to decline or withdraw consent for touch at any moment without explanation.

• Integration & The Shadow: This work may involve altered states or facing The Shadow. You acknowledge that any subsequent emotional chaos, personal crisis, or system reorganization is your sole responsibility to navigate. You remain the ultimate steward of your own psychological and emotional integration. Karly Lee Moyers and Sheena Lee, LLC do not provide post-session psychological stabilization or crisis management; please ensure you have a grounded personal or professional support system in place to navigate your integration.

• Ancestral Journeys: You acknowledge that ancestral work may surface challenging histories; I provide the structure, but you navigate the interpersonal impact.

• Herbal Disclaimer: Any discussion of botanicals or herbs is for educational and ritual purposes only. I do not prescribe herbs to treat medical conditions. Always consult your healthcare provider before ingesting new plants.

III. Container Boundaries & Professional Conduct:

This is a sacred, peer-to-peer container for spiritual and creative evolution. To maintain the safety of this ground, clear professional boundaries are required.

• Time Boundaries: Energy moves most cleanly when it has a clear beginning and end. All sessions and ceremonies are scheduled for a specific duration. If you are late, that time may be deducted from your session to honor the closing boundary. While the scheduled end-time is generally strict to respect subsequent commitments, the practitioner reserves the sole right and discretion to extend a session if time and schedule permit.

• Financial Integrity: All financial agreements, sliding-scale tiers, payment plans, and balances must be finalized prior to entering our session or ceremony.

• Clean Communication Channels: To protect the nervous systems of both guide and client, official business communication, scheduling modifications, and billing logistics take place via email or brief text message. Administrative responses are processed within 48 business hours. Text messaging is strictly limited to urgent logistical updates (e.g., lateness, directions). Deep emotional processing, personal reflections, and session integration are reserved exclusively for the container of our live sessions and will not be facilitated over text or email.

• Nature of Relationship: Our connection is strictly professional and spiritual; it is not a space for romantic, sexual, or personal solicitation.

• Zero Tolerance: Harassment, unwanted advances, or any behavior that violates the sanctuary of the practitioner or the collective will result in immediate termination of the session/contract without a refund. Your sovereignty ends where another’s safety begins.

• Community Sanctuary: In group settings, confidentiality is sacred. Stories told in the circle stay in the circle. I am not liable for the conduct of other participants.

IV. The Oracle & The Navigator:

• Subjectivity: This work may involve altered states, deep meditation, or intuitive insights. These experiences are subjective. I do not claim these revelations as objective facts or medical diagnoses. Your interpretation of your journey is yours alone.

• The Navigator: While I facilitate space for direct revelation, all life decisions made following our sessions are the sole responsibility of the client. I offer the maps; you are the navigator of your own life’s path.

• The Process: Healing is a lifelong journey. I make no guarantees regarding specific outcomes or the speed of your evolution. This work is a commitment to a process, not a promise of a result.

V. Digital Sovereignty & Intellectual Property:

The recordings, guided transmissions, visual art, and written medicine provided within the Digital Sanctuary or during sessions are the intellectual property of Karly Lee Moyers and Sheena Lee, LLC. Your purchase grants you a personal, non-transferable license for your own healing journey.

 

You agree not to record, redistribute, sell, or publicly share these materials without express written permission. The medicine is for your ears and heart alone; please honor the root system from which it grew.

 

Privacy & Ethics:

When you share your breath, your story, or your data, it enters a sanctuary of deep respect.

• Radical Non-Judgment: All expressions of "the weird" and the wild are honored.

• Confidentiality: Anything that arises (sounds, movements, or stories) stays within the temple of our session.

• The Digital Realm: While I take every precaution to ensure our digital sanctuary is private, you acknowledge the inherent risks of digital communication (Zoom/Video).

• No Leakage: Your information is never sold or traded. It stays within this root system.

• Photo/Media Clause: I understand that photos or videos may be taken at public community gatherings for archival or marketing purposes. I reserve the right to opt-out by notifying the practitioner before the ceremony begins.

 

The Rooted Exchange:

I. The Anchor (The Client's Commitment):

Because I dedicate physical energy, time, and resources to preparing this container, registration is a "yes" to the process.​

• The Buffer: If unexpected chaos enters your life, I offer a full refund or rescheduling options up to 24 hours before our journey begins.

• The Threshold: Within 24 hours of our session, the energy is fully committed, and cancellations or no-shows forfeit the session investment. Exceptions are held at the sole discretion of the practitioner.

II. The Integrity Clause (The Practitioner's Commitment):

I honor the sacredness of our exchange. In the rare event that I (the practitioner) am unable to hold the space or provide the medicine due to illness or emergency:

• Rescheduling: We will first attempt to find a new time to ground our work.

• Full Restitution: If rescheduling is not possible, a 100% refund will be issued immediately.
